Important Security Information
We use Google Password Manager on Android devices to store your Linen App sign-in credentials. By default, Password Manager is enabled on all Android devices. Just click the “Save password” button when Linen App asks permission to store the password. Without this Google Password Manager backup, you will no longer have access to your funds if you change your phone or reinstall Linen App. Once the Android version of Linen App is fully functional and ready to transact, we will introduce additional backup options.
What do I do if Linen App tells me Google Password Manager can’t be used?
Most likely you have disabled Password Manager or added Linen App to a list of declined sites and apps. To fix that:
1. Go to passwords.google.com. Check to see if you are logged in with the Google Account that you would like to use with Linen App.
2. Tap the settings icon (cogwheel ⚙️) in the top-right corner of the screen.
3. Enable the “Offer to save passwords” option if it is not already checked.
4. If you have a list of declined sites and apps on the screen, look for Linen App. You may need to scroll down to find it. If Linen App is in the list, remove it.
Google Password Manager settings do not update instantly, and it might take up to a few minutes for this change to take effect. Linen App will automatically prompt you to save the password once Password Manager becomes available on your device.
