You are probably familiar with digital wallets like Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc. All those wallets keep your funds in banks. A self-custody (non-custodial) wallet means that you are the sole custodian (keeper) of your funds. How? When you set up your Linen App wallet, a unique phrase is created for you using a special algorithm. This phrase is the only way for you to recover access to your Linen App wallet. The phrase is stored on your mobile device, and we will provide you with the ability to back up this phrase to your iCloud Keychain on iOS devices. It means that Linen App does not have access to your funds because the access phrase is kept on your device and in your iCloud Keychain
